How do I make a claim?

Step 1: Purchase a promotional pack of Spontex Soft Hands Gloves (please keep your original itemised till receipt as it will be required for redemption).

Step 2: Peel the on pack sticker back to reveal the short terms.

Step 3: Go online to www.spontex.co.uk/trymegloveme, complete your personal details, tell us why you didn’t like your product, enter the last four digits of the pack barcode found on the back of the product packaging and upload your till receipt. You must be aged 16+ to make a claim.

Step 4: Your claim will be sent to a third party who will validate it and if everything is ok, they will issue a refund in the form of a cheque.


When can I claim my money back?

This promotion runs from the 08.03.2021 to 31.12.2022 and all claims must be received by the deadline of 23:59 on 31.01.2023.


When will I receive my money back?

We will aim to post your cheque within 7-14 days of receipt of a valid claim, however please allow up to 28 days. If you haven’t received your cheque via post after 28 days, please get in touch.


How much money back will I receive?

You will receive the amount of money that you paid for the promotional product as itemised on your till receipt up to the £3 limit.


I don’t live in the UK, can I still make a claim?

Unfortunately not, this promotion is only open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) only.


I don’t have access to the Internet, can I still make a claim?

Unfortunately not, no redemptions received via post or telephone will be entered into the promotion. Entrants must also have a valid email address.


Where can I find the barcode?

The barcode can be found on the back of the pack in the bottom right hand corner. You need the last four digits to enter your claim.


I did not keep my receipt, can I still make a claim?

Unfortunately not, you must be able to show the amount that you paid for the promotional product with an original, itemised and dated receipt.


I did not keep my promotional sticker, can I still make a claim?

You will still be able to make a claim if you have kept your itemised till receipt and have the Soft Hands Gloves pack to get the last four digits from the barcode.


Can I make more than one claim?

No, only one single refund per household is allowed.


I have tried to make my claim but have received an error message, what should I do?

Please check to ensure that you have entered the last four digits of the barcode correctly. When entering your personal information (name, email address, etc.) please ensure you have completed all the mandatory fields and that all the information you have entered is correct. If you’re still having trouble please let us know by contacting our customer care team at the following address: webmail.spontexuk@newellco.com. Please include the last four digits of the pack barcode from your promotional pack so that we can help to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.


I purchased a pack of Soft Hands Gloves but there is no promotional sticker, what should I do?

As with any on pack promotion, it is possible to find non-promotional packs on shelf at the same time as promotional ones. Only packs that have the promotional sticker on the front of the pack are valid for this promotion.
